Information For Readers
We encourage readers, researchers, practitioners, students, policymakers, and other interested users to register with the International Journal of Disaster Risk Management (IJDRM) and subscribe to the journal’s publication notifications.
To register, select the Register option available on the journal website and create a reader account. During registration, users may indicate that they wish to receive notifications from the journal. Registered readers will be informed by email when a new issue is published and may receive the Table of Contents, links to newly published articles, and other relevant journal announcements.
Registration is free of charge and is not required to read or download published articles. IJDRM is an open-access journal, and its published content is freely and permanently available online without subscription, registration, or payment.
Reader registration provides several practical benefits:

- easier management of notification preferences through the user account;

Readers are encouraged to use the official article landing page or DOI when citing, sharing, or linking to an article. This ensures access to the authoritative Version of Record and to any subsequent corrections, updates, supplementary materials, or editorial notices.
Articles published under the journal’s current licensing policy are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Readers may read, download, copy, share, distribute, and reuse published material in accordance with the licence, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and the original publication, a link to the licence is included, and any changes are clearly indicated.
Readers may also recommend the journal to colleagues, students, researchers, professional associations, academic departments, and institutional libraries. Librarians may include IJDRM in electronic journal collections, library catalogues, discovery services, subject guides, and institutional repositories.
Personal information provided during registration, including names and email addresses, will be used only for the purposes stated by the journal, such as account administration and publication notifications. Such information will not be sold, disclosed to advertisers, or used for unrelated commercial purposes.
