Information For Authors

Authors interested in submitting a manuscript to the International Journal of Disaster Risk Management should consult the current Author Instructions, Manuscript Preparation Guidelines, journal template, Publication Fees, Peer Review Policy, Open Access Policy, and Copyright and Licensing Policy available through the journal’s main navigation menu.

Authors retain copyright in their published articles and grant the International Journal of Disaster Risk Management the non-exclusive right of first publication.

All articles published under the journal’s current licensing policy are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This licence permits sharing and adaptation of the published material for any purpose, provided that appropriate credit is given to the authors and the original publication, a link to the licence is provided, and any changes are indicated.

Authors may deposit the submitted manuscript, accepted manuscript, and final published Version of Record in institutional, disciplinary, national, or funder-designated repositories, academic networks, and personal or departmental websites. No embargo period applies.
