Best Three Papers Award (Vol. 8, No. 1) – Free Publication
The International Journal of Disaster Risk Management (IJDRM) is pleased to announce a Competition for the Best Three Papers for Vol. 8, No. 1. The selected papers will receive a full Article Processing Charge (APC) waiver (100% discount) and will be published free of charge in IJDRM, subject to successful peer review and final acceptance.
1) Award-
3 winning papers will receive a full APC waiver (no APC will be charged).

Winners will be formally announced on IJDRM channels.

Papers will be published according to IJDRM’s editorial schedule and standard procedures.

Submissions must meet all of the following:

The manuscript fits IJDRM’s aims and scope (disaster risk management across prevention/mitigation, preparedness, response, recovery; natural, technological/man-made hazards; complex emergencies; climate-related risks, etc.).

The manuscript is original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal/conference at the time of submission.

Written in English and prepared according to IJDRM author guidelines.

(Editorials, book reviews, and short news items are not eligible.)

All submissions will undergo:

Initial editorial screening (scope, format, ethics, originality)

Double-blind peer review according to IJDRM standards

Final evaluation by the Editorial Team
Only manuscripts that successfully pass peer review and reach an accept decision can receive the award.

Clarity of writing and structure

Ethical integrity and transparency (data, methods, limitations)

Winning papers must comply with IJDRM’s requirements for:

Plagiarism checks

Data transparency and proper citation
-
Revisions within the requested timeframe

If a winning paper is withdrawn or fails to meet requirements, IJDRM reserves the right to allocate the waiver to another high-ranked submission.
