The International Journal of Disaster Risk Management (IJDRM) operates as a non-profit, open-access academic journal. The journal is committed to upholding editorial independence and transparency in all aspects of its operations.

Funding and Institutional Support

The journal is supported through the following non-commercial sources:

  • Scientific‑Professional Society for Disaster Risk Management, based in Belgrade, Serbia – the official publisher of the journal.

  • International Institute for Disaster Research (IIDR) – an institutional partner providing scientific support and academic collaboration.

  • In-kind contributions from affiliated academic institutions, including access to editorial infrastructure, technical support, and peer-review coordination.

  • Voluntary editorial work by members of the Editorial Board, peer reviewers, and technical staff, all of whom contribute without compensation.

  • No advertising or commercial sponsorship is accepted.

No Article Processing Charges (APC)

IJDRM does not charge any publication or submission fees. All accepted articles are published free of charge and are immediately available under an open-access model, without embargo.

Editorial Independence

Editorial decisions are made independently based on academic quality, originality, and relevance. Financial or institutional affiliations do not influence the editorial or peer-review process. The integrity of the publishing process is our highest priority.
